Tinting

This is the colouring of eyelashes or brows. Results last up to 6 weeks. A patch test is required at least 24 hours prior to any tinting.

Hopi Ear Candles 

​

 

Hopi Ear Candling also known as Ear Coning or Thermo Auricular Therapy is considered to have its origins in North Arizone and was used by the Hopi Indians.

 

The candles are hollow, (without a wick) and contain ingredients chosen for their healing abilities such as honey, beeswax sage and roman chamomile.

 

 

What can I expect to happen?

The candle is placed with its base in the client’s ear. It takes approximately 15 minutes for each candle to burn down to a level that is of safe distance from the ear. During this time a light suction action (chimney effect) and the movement of the flame create a vibration of air in the ear candle, generating a massage like effect on the eardrum.

 

As the candle burns the herbal/aromatherapy vapours are inhaled through the nose. Warmth may be felt along with a balance of pressure in the ears.

 

A lymphatic drainage facial massage completes the therapy. This is a gentle, rhythmical massage technique that encourages the disposal of toxins by gently moving the lymph toward the lymph nodes helping to reduce puffiness around the eyes.

the nasal area clearer, and an overall feeling of relaxation will be experienced.
